Historic Downtown Ripon's
Village Green Concert Series

For the seventeenth consecutive summer, the streets of downtown Ripon will be filled with the sound of music when the Village Green Concert Series returns. This year's series will allow you to enjoy a greater variety of music than ever before.

"Main Street has scheduled a diverse group of entertainers encompassing a wide range of musical styles," noted Craig Tebon, Ripon's Downtown Manager. "We tried to select bands that would appeal to a variety of people." The entertainment scheduled will encompass musical styles ranging from the honky-tonk sound of Andy's Automatics, classic country by Whisky River, polkas by the Tuba Dan Band, scorching hot blues by Reverend Raven and Dave Steffen, and a variety of rock by the Groove Hogs, I Drank With Frank, Vic Ferrari, Road Trip and more.

The concerts run from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. and take place on The Village Green located at the corner of Watson and Seward Street in downtown Ripon. The series runs every Friday evening, June through August. Participants are encouraged to bring folding chairs or blankets to sit on. Please, no carry-ins because beverage sales help cover entertainment expenses. Free music isn’t really free.
